Swedish merchant navy shipbuilding according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 30 October 1941

An item dated Stockholm 29 October reported that the largest Swedish shipyard at Gothenburg was ordered to built 33 new ships excluded the orders for some smaller vessels. The losses of the Swedish merchant navy in the war had been until now 270,000 tons of which 140,000 tons were replaced. The Swedish shipyards received now together orders for 325,000 tons of merchant ships.
