Sea tidings from Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviasche koloniale courant dated 5 January 1810

An item dated Batavia 3 January 1810 reported that on 26 December [1808] the government ship De Goede Trouw captain H. Voorman arrived coming from Japan after a voyage of 29 days and with a cargo of copper for the government. On board was Mr. H. Brinkman scriba for Japan.
