British naval movements according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 27 September 1823

Portsmouth, 20 September. Yesterday departed the 74-gun Spartiate (1) rear admiral sir G. Eyre towards the South America station, the 46-gun Glasgow (2) departed towards Bermuda and Malta and the 46-gun Naiad (3) with sealed orders probably towards Lisbon and Madeira.

1. 3rd rate, captured from the French in 1798, sheerhulk 1842, broken up 1857, dimensions 182½ x 50 x ?, 1949 tons builders measurement, 74 guns.
2. 4th rate, pine-built, England, launched at Wigram&Green, Blackwall 21 February 1814, broken up 1829, dimensions 159 x 42 x ?, 1260 tons builders measurement, 50 guns. 
3. 5th rate, England, launched at Hill, Limehouse, England 27 February 1797, harbour storeship January 1847, sold for similair service to the Pacific SN Co. 2 February 1866, dimensions 147 x 40 x ?, 1020 tons builders measurement, 38 guns. sources:
