American whaler Bartholem Gosnold unloading catch at San Francisco according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 3 January 1865

An item reported that the Bartholomew Gosnold (1) of New Bedford loaded at San Francisco 43 barrels sperm, 108 barrels whale oil and 10.070 lbs bone in to the Prima Donna destined for New Bedford.

1. According to the list dated 4 July 356 tons, captain Bolles, shipping agents I. Howland jr.&Co, departed in 16 September 1862 towards the Indian Ocean.
