Prussian bark Die Braut lost off the Dutch island Terschelling according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche Courant dated 27 November 1867

An item dated Den Helder the 26th reported that on the 23rd the Prussian bark ship Die Braut captain C. Leith was lost in the outer grounds of the Dutch island Terschelling. Her captain and 2 sailors drowned, 11 others were saved by the Dutch life-boat of Vlieland and who arrived that morning safely with the pilot boat No. 2 of Terschelling. The ship was now totally submerged and had been underway with a cargo of coal from England towards Danzig.
