An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 29 April reported that the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Anna Paulowna returned with tidings from Banka. On 26 March were some defence works made off Kotta Waringin on Banka by rebels coming from Palembang captured by the Dutch troops.(1)
