Swedish coastal defence ship Göta 1891-1944

Of the Svea-class consisting of the Svea, Göta and Thule. Launched at Lindholmens Mekaniska Verkstad. Götenorg, Sweden on 30 September 1889, commissioned on 1 July 1891, decommissioned on 12 October 1923, auxiliary ship for the air force since 1920, stricken in 1938, converted into a barrack ship at Stockholm, at the navy yard at Stockholm partly broken up between 1942-1943 and in 1944 was the hull sold to the Harbour Board and used as pontoon.
