Laid down at the Arnhemsche Scheepsbouw Mij., Arnhem, Netherlands for American account as the MSC 180on 10 February 1954, launched on  21 May 1955, commissioned at Rotterdam, Netherlands on Thursday morning 26 April 1956, sold to R. Zorn, Harlem, Netherlands in 1993. Of the Dokkum-class also called WU-class designed using West European standard staff demands and built to act as coastal waters within territorial waters.
