Tasmanian crew members of the Norwegian whaling expedition paid off accoridng to the newspaper The Mercury dated Thursday 23 February 1928

An item reported that a day earlier 31 Tasmanian crew members of the Norwegian whaling expedition towards the Ross Sea, Antarctic were paid off by Messrs. Marfarlane Bros. and Co., Hobart, Tasmania which were the agents for the Norwegian fleet.
