British river gunboat HMS Moorhen temporarily stationed at Macau according to the Secret Admiralty Weekly Intelligence Summary Nr. 63 for the week ending 28 February 1920

An item reported that the situation at Macau on 14 February was described as calm with Chinese and Portuguese governments still negotiating.(1) The HMS Moorhen (2) remained for the time being at Macau.

Notes

1. In 1928 was in the Treaty of Peking the Portuguese jurisdiction in Macau confirmed. In 1999 Macau was transferred to China.

2. Teal-class river gunboat, launched by Yarrow, Scotstoun on 13 August 1901 and finally sold at Hong Kong, China in August 1933.
