Sale of 1/16 part in Dutch whaler ‘t Genoegen on a public auction on Monday 27 January 1766 in the Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement at Amsterdam according to the Dutch magazine De Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius of January 1766

To be sold by the brokers V. de Vries and T. Beth Ysbrands one 1/16 part in the whaler ‘t Genoegen and equipment, fluytship, with as last commandeur Kersje Hilbrands, in 1754 newly fitted out, with as dimension s 113’x 29’x 12’6” and height deck 6’9”, now lying at Amsterdam, destined for Greenland with 6-7 launches was to be sold with the fitting out to be paid by the buyer.
