Naval operations of the Dutch East Company at Ternate according to the Generale Missive dated 25 March 1741

The Phoenix departed 25 February towards Ternate with a cargo valued fl. 214.647, including 8.000 lb of gunpowder, fl. 28.949 of ducatons and ropia’s and fl. 1.506 of duiten (penny’s).
The hooker Snuffelaar and the sloop Nieuwe Promotie sailed towards Gorontalo, Limbotto and the Gulf of Tomini to exchange gold. The equipage master of the Snuffelaar named Hoyer was ordered to compensate for 2.400 lb rice.
The sovereign of Parigi was to be supported by 2 corporals and 12 soldiers and the pantalang Nias to prevent smuggling of gold.
The sloop d’Uytgeleyde was ordered to patrol off the upper coast of Halmaheira to prevent smuggling by the Pattanirese subjects of the king of Tidor.
The sloop Philip wasn’t worth to be repaired.
The sloop Clara and the pantjalang Kruiser, both made at Rembang, were sent towards Ternate.
