Lisbon, 2 July. Yesterday arrived there a smak coming from Flores with the crew of a rich loaded ship of Brazil which was captured by a privateer armed with just one gun. The Brazilian was much better armed and succeeded to keep the privateer away when suddenly all wind disappeared and the privateer could shoot at her stern which she was harmless. Her Portuguese crew was set on land at Flores where the smak take them on board.
