An item reported that at the Austrian
now Soviet controlled Korneuburg shipyards a former Romanian tug was under
reconstruction and to be renamed Pecs. Two sister ships namely the Chernikov
and Astrakhan were in autumn handed over to the Soviet Union and sent to
Ismail, Ukraine. She was to be completed in 1963. Had two funnels, 2 boilers
and a 600hp engine.
