Messrs. Vickers and Armstrong still not allowed to take over the Constantinople dockyard according to the Weekly appreciation of matters of naval interest No.13 week ended 15 March 1919

An item reported that the British Foreign Office still did not approve that Messrs. Vickers and Armstrong would be asked to take over the Constantinople dockyard. Foreign Office feared that this taken over possible lead to political complications and would effect concessions laid dormant during the war.
