Soviet Union buying Icelandic frozen fish fillets according to the Commercial Fisheries Review dated January 1960 no. 1

An item reported that the Icelandic Ministry of Commenced stated on 6 August 1959 that the Soviet Union considered purchasing 6,000 tons of frozen fish fillets the last part of the 32,000 tons as provided for in the trade agreement. The Icelandic newspaper dated 23 October mentioned that 2,800 tons of fillets was purchased. That was still 3,200 tons below the agreement but enough for Iceland to close out on 31 December the 3-year trade agreement with payments being in balance.
