American brig Thetis captured by Peruvian government schooner according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 9 April 1823

London, 4 April. According to a letter dated Lima 12 November was the American brig Thetis captured by a Peruvian government schooner probably for trading arms with the enemy. Her supercargo was taken prisoner send to Callao.
