Macassar
With the Prattenburg 100 last rice towards Amboina and with the Herstelling 200 last rice towards Banda. Quality of djatti timber at Dompo was very worse. At Saleyer cut down timber.
Japan
The Popkensburg arrived 18th December at Batavia coming from Japan. The Huis Den Eult arrived badly damaged 13th July in the Berenbaai, Macao. Partly of the cargo with a value of ƒ 149.000 of the Huis Den Eult was transferred to the Popkensburg. The cargo of the Popkensburg was valued ƒ 769.359 including 6300 cases with cupper bars and porcelain.
East coast of Java
The Prattenburg transferred 200 of the 600 last rice left at Tegal towards Amboina and the Huis ten Donk another 200 last towards Banda.
At the shipyard at Rembang were 3 chialoupes, 3 tandjungpura’s and 11 schouwen made.
Batavia
The Den Dam bound for China arrived at Jankiang with the loss of her masts. The Alblasserdam wrecked at sea with only 9 survivors. The Den Dam and Huis Den Eult were repaired at Macao. The Groenswaart and Spiering arrived 31 December, the Sleewijk and Loenderveen 3 January. The Haften is at Bengal undergoing repairs. The cargos of the Spiering, Sleewijk and Loenderveen were valued ƒ 924.205. The cargo’s of the homeward bound ships Elsbroek and Hartenlust ƒ 642/399. The Valkenisse arrived 4th January coming via Coromandel and Malacca from Persia with a cargo valued ƒ 244.362. The destination for the Noordwijkerhout was changed, instead of Basra, she went via Tuticorin towards Batavia with a cargo valued ƒ 111.333. The Opperdoes arrived 20 December 1734, the Ridderkerk and Hillegonda 2 and 3th January. The Hof niet altijd Zomer, Hogersmilde and Popkensburg will be the homeward bound ships, replacing the Bethlehem, Land van Beloften and Jonge Willem. Totally value of the cargos of the 9 homeward bound ships will be ƒ 1.823.056. The value of the cargos of the Ridderkerk, Hillegonda and Hof niet altijd Zomer will be ƒ 653.799.
