The Javanese newspapers published the next news item dated Batavia 25 June according to which the Dutch schooner brig Zr. Ms. Padang (1) lieutenant 1st class H.A. Meijer arrived at Batavia 19 June after being stationed for a year at the west coast of Borneo. She returned via Surabaya along Bawean, Karimon Java and the Boompjes islands, from there to Poelo Mangkap, south from Billiton towards the Gaspar straits and Poelo Selio, through Stoltze Strait and Banca Strait, Anjer and finally Sunda Strait. During the voyage were no pirates found but well a lot of survey knowledge improved.
