French squadron prevented British steam packet Royal George entering the port of Cadiz according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 29 July 1823

London, 15 July. The steam packet Royal George arrived 1 July off Cadiz. The French squadron off this harbour cruising prevented her entering the harbour. Her passengers and mails however were brought on land. She continued her voyage 3 July probably towards Gibraltar.
