Amsterdam, 26 October. With success was that day the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Sambre launched within a few minutes around 13.30 o’clock with beautiful sunny weather sighted by a large amount of spectators. She was the first Dutch warships built at the navy yard at Amsterdam with a round shaped stern like the British.(1)
