Dutch additional naval strength according to a document dated 21 January 1793

In fact the document doesn’t give an accurate view of the Dutch navy that year. It mentioned none of the ships of the line, the largest ship is a frigate. So I suppose it’s more a list of extra vessels which that year were fitted out. (1)

2 hookers, the Zeehond, commanded by Captain Ditmers, armed with 16-8pdr, 90 men and the Maasnymph, commanded by Lieutenant Bloys, armed with 14-8pdr, 75 men.
3 gaff ships, each armed with 40 men, the Voorzorg commanded by Lieutenant Coomans and the Kijkuit, commanded by Lieutenant Hoetings, both armed with 8-6pdr and the Rustbewaarder, armed with 6-6pdr and some swivels
