Dutch merchant bark ship Holland for sale at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 12 October 1868
The brokers C. Ament, A. Roland Horst, W.IJ. Van Reinouts and P. Reineke announced the sell of the bark ship Holland on Monday 12 October 1868 18.00 o’clock in the Nieuwe Stadsherberg located at the IJ in the presence of the bailiff B.D. Beets for the highest bid. The Holland with as master H.O. Grönbeck was an extra ordinary coppered and well sailing with according to the Dutch tonnage certificate a measurement of 544 tons or 287 lasten and as dimensions 39 ellen x 6 ellen 35 duimen x 4 ellen 94 duimen. The ship was at that moment anchored at the yard Het Wapen van Harlingen, Groote Wittenburgerstraat, Amsterdam.
