Russian destroyer Sokol launched according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 30 August 1895

On Friday 23 August was at a British yard the Russian destroyer Sokol launched. During her trial was the maximum speed 30,285 knots even somewhat faster as the new French torpedo boat Forban. Both vessels belonged to the fastest of the world.
