British Royal Navy looking for women according to the Dutch newspaper De courant Het nieuws van den dag dated 27 September 1940

An item dated Stockholm dated 26 September referring to the British radio reported that the British Royal Navy was searching for female personnel especially female cooks to be able to enlist the male cooks.
