Indonesian naval strength according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 18 March 1958

An item reported that the central Indonesian government possessed just one destroyer, 4 corvettes and some patrol vessels. In Italy were four frigates ordered, but just one was completed and on that moment busy with her trials.
