An item referred to what the correspondent at Cape Town of the British Medical Journal reported. According to him was the major part of the available hospital facilities used for nursing the soldiers coming sick from the England. Each transport which arrival had some sick men on board of which the most would not recover soon enough for war service. If the 7th and 8th divisions were not in a better shape was men facilities lacking. Remarkable was the large number of pneumonia cases and further more a large number of influenza cases. On board one transport died seven men suffering from pneumonia.
