British troop transport Queen arrived at Durban according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated Thursday 17 February 1881

An item reported that the troop transport Queen arrived in Monday at Durban but bad weather prevented the landing of the troops.(1)

1. The soldiers were to serve in the First Anglo-Boer of 20 December 1880-23 March 1881 ending in allowing self-government in the Transvaal.
