Polish merchant navy officers in Indonesian service according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 1 April 1958

An item reported that according to the Indonesian Department of Shipping Polish merchant navy officers were underway to Indonesia to man Indonesian ships. The Russian crews on board of the ten Russian ships which recently arrived at Djakarta were than to return to Russia. Polish shipping experts were to train Indonesian sailors.
