British troop transport destined for China according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Nieuwsbode dated 16 June 1900

An item reported that the British governor at Hong Kong chartered a transport to bring 900 men to Tang-koe. In the meantime fought 2,000 Boxers with a British patrol of sailors at Langfang only after being reinforced with marines the patrol succeeded in driven the attackers back.
