British tanker British Triumph lost according to the Dutch newspaper De Gooi- en Eemlander dated 15 February 1940

An item reported that the British tanker British Triumph of 8.501 tons sunk on the North Sea after an explosion. Of her crew were 42 people saved and who arrived in a port at the British East coast. Five more seemed to be missing. The same ship was two weeks earlier attacked by a plane of the Axis powers.
