Launched on 12 November 1930 at the Kiangnan Dock. With a displacement of 1.520 (standard)-1.650 tons were her dimensions 256’7” (between perpendiculars)-270/275 (over all) x 34-4’5” x 11-11’2” feet. The armament consisted of 1-6” gun, 1-5.5:” gun, 4-3” anti aircraft guns, 2-3prdr and 4 machineguns. The engines and three Yarrow boilers supplied 4.000-6.000 hp allowing a speed of 20 knots. The coal bunker capacity was 280 tons. Her crew numbered 173 men. On 25 September 1937 was her crew forced to beach her at Nangking after being damaged during Japanese air attack. The Japanese forces repaired her and commissioned her as the training ship Atada armed with 3-8cm anti aircraft guns. In August 1945 was she captured by Allied forces and given back to China on 25 August 1946 and now renamed Yi Hsien.
