An announcement reported that the Russian consulate intended to sell on Monday 10 January 19.00 o’clock in the locality het Centrum in Nieuwediep on an public auction before the notary J.W. Hattinga Raven the salvaged rigging and inventory of the Russian bark ship Alafuso captain E. Metresis. She was stranded on the Noorderhaaks and Westgat of Texel. The salvaged stores were stored on the Westplein and in the warehouse of A. Burgers, Kanaalsweg, Den Helder.
