An announcement reported that the American frigate ship Ocean Home captain A.H. Merrijman was to depart Rotterdam on 15 August towards New York. 1. Emanuel Wambersie (11 October 1761 Gent, Belgium-6 October 1829 Aelter, Belgium) and Dionijs Burger jr. (26 January 1788 Rotterdam(-17 November 1860 Rotterdam) shipping agents firm Wambersie&Burger since 1 January 1821. After the death of his father became his son John (1806 Savannah, Georgia-19 February 1874) partner in the firm. Burger left the business on 31 January 1838.
