Dutch bark ship Christian Huygens bound for Batavia according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 26 January 1849

An announcement reported that the Dutch bark ship Christiaan Huygens captain H.R. Bok was to depart Rotterdam middle February towards Batavia with passengers and cargo. For more details could be asked at De Groot Roelants en Co. of Schiedam and P.A. Van Es&Co. of Rotterdam. The edition dated the 12^th published again the same announcement.
