Ship Flor do Porto lost according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 24 November 1858

A sea tiding dated Boston 9 November reported that the ship Flor do Porto underway from St. Ubes towards New York was left by her crew on 30 October and was beached at Ocracoke.
