Wreck of German frigate ship Helgoland for sale at Vlieland, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 22 December 1863

An announcement reported that on Monday 28 December at 09.00 o’clock in the village Vlieland on a public auction the salvaged inventory of the wrecked German frigate ship Helgoland of Bremen would be sold. Captain Carl Graffunder. Apparently she was broken in several parts while also could be bought three coppered and copper fastened wrecks of the ship which were lying on the beach.
