Dutch navy experimenting with electro shock torpedoes according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 7 March 1890
An item reported that the experiments lead by captain De Fremery with the electro shock torpedoes at the Haringvliet, Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands were repeated on the evening of the 5th. The invention of lieutenant colonel of the artillery Dinaux was however disapproved by the experts.
