Dutch torpedo boat XVIII collided with Dutch recherché steamboat according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag dated 10 August 1896

An item dated Nieuwediep 7 August reported that the recherche steamboat Zeemeeuw a day earlier in the Amsteldiep collided with the torpedo boat XVIII. Divers concluded after an investigation that she had just minor damage.
