Explosion on board of the Russian torpedo boat No. 219 according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 20 July 1916

An item reported that on board of the Russian torpedo boat No. 219 while lying off Björkö two torpedo tubes exploded causing the death of one sailor and wounding three men (one seriously).

1. Siegfried Breyer. Enzyklopädie des sowjetischen Kriegsschiffbaus. Oktober revoltution und maritimes Erbe mentioned a torpedo boat (a so-called minoset) No. 219 built in 1902-1903 at the shipyard Crichton, Abo, in 1918 handed over to Finland and in Finnish service as the C-4. In 1922 returned to the Soviet Union and immediately broken up.
