Gunboat Sucre exploded to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 4 June 1895

An item dated Guyaquil 31 May reported that the gunboat Sucre was exploded causing the lives of the commanding officer and 14 men while another 17 were wounded.
