Iraq ordering warships in Italy according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 5 February 1980

An item reported that Italy intended to deliver Iraq eleven warships consisting of four frigates, six corvettes and a supply vessel. The contract with a value of around 3.300.000 Dutch guilders was to be signed on short notice.
