Dutch freighter Perseus built at Gorinchem, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Gorinchemse Courant dated 13 August 1921

An item referred to the launching of the 1,700 tins freighter Perseus built at the shipyard N.V. IJsselwerf at Gorinchem for the Dutch shipping company K.N.S.M. of Amsterdam. The newspaper Nieuwsblad voor Gorinchem en Omstreken dated Friday 11 November referred that she broke loose of her moorings due to the hurricane which harassed Gorinchem on the Sunday before. She had no crew on board but some tugs managed to salvage her undamaged. At that moment she was still lying at the shipyard.
