Czechoslovakia intended to strengthen her Danube flotilla according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1938 no. 6

An item referred to the foreign magazine R.M. dated June 1938 which reported that the cabinet of Czechoslovakia decided to strength the Danube river fleet. There were plans for building 16-240 ton minelayers and some 48 ton guard vessels. At that moment were 1-200 ton gunboat President Masarijk and 22 armed 7-17 ton motor boats available.
