New building for Turkish navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad no. 12 dated 1939

An item referred to the foreign magazine M.R. dated October 1939 reporting that the 4 destroyers built for Turkey in England were named Inayet, Numouné, Sultanhissar and Demirhassar. On 24 August was at the German Krupp Germania shipyard at Istanbul the submarine Yildiray launched. She was the last of the 4 submarines built by Germany for Turkey and was over 4 months to be completed. The submarine Atilay was on short notice to have completed her trials and to be commissioned.
