An item reported that the Greek fleet program included the adding of two more ‘battleships’ to the navy excluded the Salamis of 19.500 ton, a speed of 23 miles and a main armament of 8-35.6cm guns now being built in Stettin, Germany, 3 armoured cruisers and a number of smaller ships. The program was approved by the Greek staff and the British mission. The orders for were already executed.(1)

Note
1. In 1914 were from the USS the pre-dreadnoughts USS Missippi and Idaho bought and which were renamed Kilkis and Lemnos. In France was the Vasilefs Konstantinos ordered. The latter was based on the French Bretagne-class desugn. Neither the Salamris or the Vasilefs Konstantinos wre completed.
