Austrian negotiations with Whitehead failed according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1912-1913 no. 10

An item reported that the negotiations between the Austrian cabinet and the firm Whitehead (1) for building submarines of 500 ton failed caused by the costs. The cabinet decided to order abroad.
