British submarines not using German Schwarzkof torpedoes according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 2 April 1916
An item dated Paris 1 April reported that the British Admiralty denied to have in stock many bronze made Schwarzkopf torpedoes neither the use of British submarines of this kind of torpedoes despite what a German telegram claimed. The only Schwarzkopf torpedoes in British property consisted of technical models in museums and in more as twenty years were none such torpedoes used by British submarines.
