Japan ordering torpedoes at Fiume according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatra Post dated 6 February 1904

An item dated Singapore dated 6 February reported that Japan (1) was negotiating at Fiume (2) for the delivery of a gigantic order of torpedoes.

Notes

1. Japan ended the diplomatic relations with the Russian Empire on 5 February 1904 followed by an attack on the 8^th The war ended on 5 September 1905. Earlier on 27 January fought already Russian and Japanese warships outside of Chemulpo.
