Dutch tug Achilles built at Haarlem, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 16 March 1911

An item reported the delivery a day earlier by the shipyard Hubertina at Haarlem, Netherlands of the tug Achilles built for account of the Stoombootreederij voor het slepen van schepen aan het Nieuwediep en te Ijmuiden van en naar zee. Book-keepers were C.E. Zur Mühlen and A.J. de Graaf at Amsterdam. Her trial was successful. The 330 hp allowed a speed of 11 miles. Her boilers was fitted out with Howden’s forced draught.(1)
